this is baby number two but it really wasnt this bad last time. Am only 11 weeks, started off with a bit of nausea but has progressed to full on vomiting after eating anything for just over a week now. Over senstive to smells - even water smells funny! And constant burps. When will it get better?

Poor you op that's rotten. Answer is maybe tomorrow maybe when the baby arrives. If you can't keep anything down though you should see your gp as you might be dehydrated. There are sickness treatments you can take- you don't have to suffer. Have you tried gaviscon? Sounds like u have acid too re the burping. Hope you feel good soon x

It depends a lot with every pregnancy. They say most woman will begin to feel better after around the 3 month mark, so around 12 weeks but this varies. Felt sick on and off since about 6 weeks pregnant til now at 22 weeks, so it's really hard to say.

Try gaviscon for any heartburn or acid you may have, as it's safe to use whilst pregnant. Also, if you aren't able to keep anything down I'd go to your doctors as the baby needs nutrients. They may be able to recommend something for you to take or you could have acute morning sickness, which sometimes needs monitored.

Hope you begin to feel better soon. :)
