A line is a line :-D. If you are on edge take another one, I've taken 3 and its starting to kick in... good luck Grin

Sometimes it can show a vapour line.google pee on a stick. Ive found boots tests to be accurate but if the line is faint, wait for as long as you can bear it then test again one morning. Its a worthwhile investment Smile

I bought a 2 pack of boots ones when I fell pregnant with my son, used the second one (with 1 week before its use by date) and it was positive again for this pregnancy. Both time on the day my period was due. I did find the lines were stronger the longer I left the tests

LaurenCaddy · 05/12/2012 18:32

Worked fine for me, was faint at first then got brighter. Your supposed to leave it on a flat surface for 3-4 minutes for the most accurate reading. Although i was skeptical and went and spent silly money on the clear blue which came back positive as well.

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 05/12/2012 18:44

Which kind? I got two false positives on the kind with a + (the early response ones). However clear blue are not very sensitive. I'd recommend retesting with a First Response early response. I got faint positives on internet cheapies and then got a very clear BFP on an FRER.

CatchingMockingbirds · 05/12/2012 18:49

Yes I had a faint line with one and was pregnant. Congrats Smile

stephbecominglittler · 05/12/2012 19:09

I just bought some on amazon :) yeah the blue dye one with plus sign and the line in plus is blue :/ got told cb Rnt sensitive enough yet xxx

My false positives were both much thinner than the control lines and over to the left by the way. The amazon ones are fine but may seem a little fuzzy in the early days.

stephbecominglittler · 05/12/2012 19:28

Not what I was expecting to hear :( mines like that but came up str8 away x

HankZipzer · 05/12/2012 19:55

Boots own brand tests are made at the clear blue labs just using their older equipment and technology, ex-employee.

stephbecominglittler · 05/12/2012 19:59

awww brilliant :) so the est i done says no matter how faint it is if the sign = a + its positive and there has to be some sort for colour dye in it . its defo defo there !!!! done a cbd and its nor pregnant :( but other people r saying a line is a line so am stuck on what to think i was due on yday/today and usually i am very moody and achy and am not . i dont want to get my hopes up and cut off my beloved coffee and the od cig but i will feel horrible if im pregnant and had the odd fag and coffee that might harm my baby x
