I am 5 weeks pregnant and have hardly no symptoms
Is this normal?

Hey lil
I'm nine weeks today and have had virtually none too. Had a private scan at 7+6 as I was so worried, and everything was fine.
The only symptom I had was really, really sore nipples, and kept waking up in the night (but thought this was due to excitement!) and these disappeared by seven weeks.
Also, even people who get morning sickness apparently don't get it until 6 or 7 weeks (my best mate didn't get it until 9 weeks and has a healthy three year old now!) so I really wouldn't worry.
Hope that helps put your mind at rest.

I would say totally normal. All women and all pregnancies are different, and at 5 weeks you have barely passed the missed period bit!

It is natural to worry, I am at a similar point with no real symptoms yet and it does play on my mind, but I am sure we are both fine!

Wishing you well.

Well a symptom is a symptom!
I feel well too (apart from having a cold). Hopefully we're just the lucky ones - it does happen!
Congrats to you too

Janey I was just wondering if you get to hear the heart beat at 6 to 7 weeks?

I think if you get a scan at 6 or 7 weeks it's not guaranteed they'll be able to see/hear it, but by 7-8 weeks they will definitely be able to. We heard it and it was wonderfully reassuring... And very fast!
Time goes so slowly doesn't it at this stage...
If you're really really worried in a couple of weeks you could always call your local early pregnancy unit at your hospital and they MIGHT give you a scan for free to reassure you - think it depends on the hospital policy and how busy they are though...
