pregnant + baby!!

okay so i no that there is a thread for mums pregnant with todlers but i just woundered if there are any mums netters out there who are pregnant with a baby to look after??

im 11 weeks pregnant with dc2 i have a 9 month old ds. im not gonna lie its hard work dealing with morning sickness while trying to give ds breakfast but i cant wait for my childern to grow up together.

anyone else ??

Hi, I'm 14 weeks with DC3, DD is only just 1, and DS is 4. Have you joined the June ante-natal group? I'm on the May one and recommend joining, you may even find someone else in the same position!

Me! I'm 9 weeks with no 2 & ds is 5 and a half months.

I've not been too bad nausea-wise but finding the tiredness quite hard. Having this small an age gap wasn't planned, but I do hope they'll grow up close.

Part of me feels guilty for ds because he won't get me to himself for long, I'm doing loads of things like baby yoga and swimming that he loves, but not sure how I'll manage it with two...

Having said that, i'm happy to be having another child, as it took me over 2 years to get pregnant with ds & was expecting it to take a similar amount of time again....

And wow embolsion!! you beat me in small age gap. the tiredness is getting to me to ds has just learnt to crawl so im on the go all day long on the plus side he napped for 2 hours today, got chance to put my feet up. do you feel like your getting a bump fast? i feel huge, i look around 20weeks im sure.

I feel guilty too, dc is such a mummys boy i worry he'll feel pushed out but i guess ill cross that bridge when it comes.

I got pregnant the first month we tried with ds we were very lucky but i thought it may take a while second time round, well i was very wrong.

emblosion same here, took over 2 years with DS, DD took 4 months.

Ours was planned, we started trying straight away. Our gap would have been smaller but I had a mc in June when DD was 7 months. I still think 17 months between them is a scary gap though!

I do feel huge, my stomach muscles have just given in I think. I'm visiting family next week and I feel so paranoid that they'll guess (or think that I've just got really fat!).

My husband was joking around saying 'imagine if it's twins' think I'd need a full time assistant! (some chance, ha ha!)

I've got exactly 12 months between DD1, DD2 and then DS (all born Sept one year after the other) DS was born 5 days before DD1's 2nd birthday keep up OP but I found it fine with all of them in nappies, all having naps, all having 'baby' food. You quickly learn the shortcuts and tricks and I found I am a better mum as there's no room for manaeuveure (sp?) and we are all very disciplined. If I let one slide then its all gone to pot, they are now 2,3 and 4 but they are absolutely brilliant. People say "oh aren't you lucky?" I just think there was not frigging luck, just lots of hard work paying off.
Did I mention I'm 25 weeks with DS2?

I'm pregnant with my 3rd, ds1 is 3 nearly 4 though and ds2 is 1, pregnancy was a big shock I'm 22. I do think Omg its going to be so hard but is rather them be closer together in age then a big age gap like I had with my sister. My 2 sons are hilarious together and constantly play fight, and giggle, I wouldn't Change it for world xx

I am 8+4wks with DC3, DS2 is 13 months (nearly 14 months) and DS1 has just turned 4. DC3 was a BIG suprise! There will be a 21 month gap between DS2 and DC3.

Have you all told your families? How did they take the news? Do you feel you were judged? I am too nervous to tell anyone yet!

Hi OP - I just wanted to let you know that I have a 12 month age gap between my 2 and whilst it was very very hard to begin with it gets so much easier. In fact looking at my friends with big-ish gaps I think as the children get older it's easier having them so close. My 2 are great mates and keep each other occupied for hours.

It's lovely to hear the stories of siblings being close :)

I haven't told my mum yet - i know she will fret about it and disaprove, waiting until my scan so the lecture won't be in vain!

Only 11month gap here!! And it was meant to be 10 and a half months but he was over!! It was very hard at the start but its the best thing I ever did.

Me too, almost 10 weeks and ds has just turned 9 months. He has just learned to crawl, developed separation anxiety which means only I can settle him when he wakes several times a night and I have just gone back to work! I really think I am a bit mad to be having another

Its lovely to hear positive things from you all. although this pregnancy was planned im still in shock that they'll have around 16 months between them.

Its my birthday next thursday i'll be the grand age of 21 :) and i have my 12 scan on the same day. i cant wait. AND on the friday i get the keys to my new house.
buying a house, looking after a 9 month old and being pregnant is HARD to say the least! But saying that i would have it any other way.

lovesmybabyboy i have told people, my family are over the moon and not suprised. but people at the baby group i go to say
'gosh you'll have your hand full' i think yes thank you for pointing that out! or i get
' the second one is never as easy as the first' haha

Rhubarb78 my ds has just developed separation anxiety bloodly hard work dont you think? i cant leave the room without him screaming the house down.
