37 weeks - glucose and protein in urine?

For the past 2 times now at my MW check ups i have noticed i have had protein and gloucose in my wee.
First sign was at 35 weeks - had trace of protein, trace ketones and + of gloucose
Last week (tuesday) - had + protein, ++ gloucose
Last week thursday (consultant appointment) - +protein and again ++gloucose.
BP is on the low side as normal, MW didnt mention it so am guessing its not a concern, but i thought protein was quite a serious thing to find?
Also been feeling very crampy the past week, week last sat thought i was in labour, mentioned it to MW and she said sounds as though body is preparing itself.
Having the crampy period type pains most of the week - yesterday i felt sick most of the day and crampy pains and last night i woke about 3 times with painful tightenings - i timed 7 in 2 hours.
This morning i woke feeling sick again, i do now a bit, off my food and just don't feel right. Have crampy pains again. Seeing the MW this afternoon for check up. Am 37 weeks today.
Any ideas?? am thinking i will probably go into labour early this time.

Glucose and protein are signs of diabetes but even ++ for glucose is not very high all things considered. It may well be that the MW decided you were borderline or far enough along that GD wasn't a huge concern, but the next time you go you should at least ask her to explain her reasoning.

Hiya, do you drink enough water throughout the day? I'm 38weeks and had a similar problem at 37, was quite dehydrated without knowing. X

Ketones indicate you're dehydrated so you definitely need to drink more. I'd ask for advice about the glucose personally.

Is it first morning urine? I often show glucose in my urine if I give the sample just after lunch/cuppa and biccie! A trace of protein is fine-it's often contamination from cervical discharge.
