Dh thinks I shouldnt worry , but Im 22 weeks pregnant and this is the 1st time weve done it since I got pg. Its very light spotting and only when I wipe , not on the pad Im now wearing. Not sure what to do really as its barely there, but still worrysome. What could it be ? Dh thinks its just because we havent done it for a while.

I wouldn't worry, but call them to have peace of mind.

phone them for advice, they will probably want to check you over, the chances are that its nothing to worry aboutSmile.

Is it bright red? You may have grazed yourself, happens to me at the moment (am pregnant). I would phone for peace of mind though, if it is worrying you. My concern now is that I am going to tear so badly, if that's enough to make me bleed! Good luck.

worriedbump · 09/04/2006 09:32

eeeeeeeeek yes Bouj have just been reading about it being caused by a small tear , cervical polyp, or to much friction on a rough cervix. Nice one!!!

i wouldn't worry too much if it's bright red.possibly just bashed yourself a litte.

Phoned ward instead , day unit it seems is closed on a Sunday!?!. Thankfullly midwife said what everyone else has said on here ; not to worry , just grazed a bit from frictionBlush. Only time to worry is if baby doesnt move as much or I bleed again.
