blood screening

hi does anyone know how long the routine blood screening eg full blood, hiv etc take to get back. dont know why Im stressing so much but cant help it :(

With mine they said you'll be told at your next MW appt, unless anything is wrong in which case they will phone you in a couple of days.

So no news is good news x

I got my results through in the post after about 2 weeks.

I understand - I always get really worried about things like that.

roll on june when baby will be here, until then Im going to be full of worry x

I hate to break it to you but you then just worry about the baby instead

lol yeh im still like that with my 18, 17 and 11 year olds xx

I had my bloods done at my 8 week appointment and didn't hear anything back, the midwive discussed it with me at my 16 week appointment.

I had to chase up the results myself as they were just filed with with GP and my midwife told me off for not having them on my file!!! I think they only contact you if there is a problem.
