Bloody silly really, just slipped and had an epic fall, you know the sort where you windmill arms, contort yourself and end up bouncing off everything in range on the way down. Landed on my hip and elbow eventually. Do I need a shot of anti d as I managed not to hit the belly?

I wouldn't think so, I'm anti d and I was told the sort of impact that concerns them is a direct fall onto bump or a car crash. Call the midwife though if you're worried?

I'm not actually anti d Grin you know what I meanBlush

You should call the midwife/GP and ask their advice.

I just found the leaflet I was given, it says 'abdominal injury e.g. after a fall or a traffic incident.' so if you didn't bump your bump am sure its fine but its better safe than sorry so would give mw/gp a call.

I slipped on rocks when I was about twelve weeks pregnant with ds, I went down on my back and decided not to get an anti-d injection.
If you are worried though you probably should.

What did you decide OP?

I rang the ward, I had my 28 week anti d shot last week and they said since I didn't hit my belly, had no bleeding or pains that I was fine, but to call back straight away if anything changed.
