Is this likely to brake my waters? It's very painful!!

Doubt it. It might be the baby touching down on nerves etc. Your waters will go when they are ready, or even during labour or may have to be broken for you, depending how your labour pans out. Is this your first baby?

No 2nd waters didn't break with first- premature baby. Good Lord, those waters must be strong to stand that kind of pounding!!

Does the pain feel like a really sharp shooting pain?

newby2 · 02/12/2012 22:20

It did but has gone off now and no fluid. Crikey that was very painful though.

I had this sort of pain too with my second. I had it randomly in the last 5 ish weeks of the pregnancy and it used to come and go. It was more often when I had been doing a lot of walking and cleaning etc. I put it down to babies head pressing down on nerves.
