Hoping for some pearls of wisdom. I've got a lingering cold and woke up this morning with the left hand side of my face feeling very tender due to my sinuses. I'm 26 weeks. Can anyone recommend anything I can do/take to make me feel less miserable? Thanks in advance...

I find that putting boiling water in a bowl and your head over it (with a towel over to keep the steam form escaping) works well. Can put some olbas oil into the boiling water as well.

Menthol crystals (available from most chemists) is a bowl or jug of water will sort you out

Paracetamol and steam.

Drink. Loads. And then some more.

Saline nasal spray. Lots and lots.

Sympathy. In the same boat and it is miserable!

Drink fluids, water, juice, etc. Not alcohol! Xmas Confused

Alcohol tempting... Xmas Wink

Thanks for the replies. Have had some paracetamol and some steaming hot lemon and ginger tea. Will give the steaming a go later Miranda and think I'll have a nice bath. Hope you feel better soon too, Meeple
