Am 29 weeks and a couple of days. Been having miserable back ache and period pains/pressure since yesterday morning. Lots of bh too but not at the same time as the period pains. Had some wierd discharge this avo, clear stringy stuff with bright snot green mixed in and a few streaks of red blood. Feeling generally shitty and not myself. Baby movin but not as violent as usual.
My belly is sore all over especially at the top. Bp was high on tuesday at the consultant, 135/81 which isn't bad, but is high for me (never topped 120/80 even in labour last 2 times) and up from 115/60 2 weeks earlier.

Hi, I think you can lose bits of the mucus plug during third trimester without it being a problem and the stringy mucus / bits of blood sound like it might be that. But the green bits sound like it might be worth a conversation with your midwife - I haven't heard of that before.

Given you aren't feeling well and the baby's movements have changed, is there anyone you could call just to put your mind at rest?

I think I might ring the antenatal ward and see what they say tbh.

That's a really good idea; I'm sure it's fine, just good to hear it from an expert

Was going to suggest phoning for advice too as the green colour could possibly indicate an infection. Did you call? Hope all is ok.

I did call, they weren't worried, told me to have a glass of cold water and lie down and if baby not moving after that to call back. Did as instructed and she promptly kicked hell out of me!

Yay that's good news! Thanks for the update and glad all is well xxx

I lost a 20p sized blob of mucus in the shower the morning before labour started; later that evening I wiped after going to the toilet and had a huge splurge of mucus on my paper. It was massive, thick and gloopy; left me in no doubt!

I expect everyone is different... but that's how it was for me.
