I don't want to be induced again - ds was 16 days late by the time he came out.

I'm now 2 days over with baby number 2 - and not showing much sign of labouring in the next 2 hoursAngryWink

So come on, tell me about how singing Ave Maria while eating fried penguin on toast definately kickstarted your labour!

well i was induced with 3 of mine, but baby number one was late, my landlady at the time said" why dont you go and sit in the garden, maybe the baby will see the sun on your tummy and decide to be born"!!!!! i did and i went into labour that night, however this was july!!!!!
nipple twiddling is supposed to help though as it stimulates the release of oxytocin, you could give that a try!

colditz honey the best thing you can do is rest! Smile

It's only 2 days overdue and so there's time yet.

You don't have to run that far Mars, I couldn't catch you if I tried!

LOL!

I have tried nipple tweaking but (sorry if TMI) I just end up with wet handsBlush

sex and walking lots. And you DON'T have to be induced if you don't want to - lots of doctors will claim you do, but you really really don'. Nipple twiddling (sounds SO romantic) and orgasm produce oxytocin, semen contains prostaglandin, both of which are induction hormones.

Hope you go into labour soon!

oh well worth a try!

erm well if u ask me, mine was kick started by a few things as follows:-

walking the dogs for 2 hours two days b4, folled by thinking i'd lost one and panicing.

DH having hassle in work and telling me I had to go into labour and adding stress ontop

standing ironing all my baby bits for the whole afternoon the day b4 labour

think thta's it really!
