Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Sounds very similar to what I had at that point! It's normal to get cramping and pains - its usually the uterus stretching. Things to look out for are (obviously) bleeding, severe pain (e.g. That doesn't go away and/or isn't helped by paracetamol, shoulder pain. I know it seems weird but it's something you get used to (she says feeling baby kick away!).

I had this. The GP said it was the uterus and ligaments stretching.

TinkyPeet · 30/11/2012 23:15

I also had this, unfortunately mine is still ongoing with the niggly pains (I'm 7 weeks) so try to relax, I find a quick massage with some body lotion helps, or a warm hot water bottle x

hello I'm nearly 5 weeks im gettig this, its your uterus preparing itself, is this your first? :-)

Dillydollydaydream · 01/12/2012 14:19

I had this from 4 weeks and am still getting them every so often now I'm 14 weeks. As long as there's no blood it's not anything to worry about, just stretching.

Christelle2207 · 01/12/2012 15:01

Good. Yes my first. Although they are all over, including my boobs, they are mostly very low down and last a couple of seconds. Quite a lot in exactly the same spot very low down on the right hand side. Bit like a bit of a pinch really, hurts but not enough to get out painkillers.

faith so pleased your pg is progressing nicely, it's been a bit of a long haul for many of us really hasn't it.

Thanks Christelle. Yes a long journey but suddenly it seems worth it! Just wait til you feel it moving - it's the most amazing feeling :)

Riley I've commented on previous threads - I'm delighted to hear you're pregnant again, praying for a healthy pregnancy/baby for you.

RileyLeeHargreaves2012 · 01/12/2012 16:14

Thank you Faith. How many weeks are you?

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 01/12/2012 16:16

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 01/12/2012 16:56

Well it's already been a rascal for scans (had two just to get dating right at 12 weeks!) then we'll find out - going to get them to write it down and open it Christmas Day! :)

RileyTheLittleMonster · 01/12/2012 21:45

Aw, that's such a good idea! Your going to have a special Christmas Xmas Grin
