Found out yesterday.. seen the doctor today.

It's my 3rd pregnancy, I lost my baby boy at 23 weeks in April. And another at 6 weeks in august. This wasnt planned!

I've just started college and its a 2 year course my baby is due on 6 of august. we want to keep it, i have extra appointments, for midwife, gynacologist, a specialist for my tyriod, extra scans and swans ontop of college..

Honestly im so scared! I don't get out of the danger zone until 23ish weeks because my weak cervix :-/

Advice or anything?

Congratulations! :)

How far along are you?

I was under consultant care for thyroid issues too in my last pregnancy. Is it anything complicated?

BridgetandtheHairyBrigands · 30/11/2012 12:47

Riley many, many, huge congratulations! I can only imagine how terribly anxious you must be but I'm sending lots of sticky vibes in your direction.

It sounds like you have lots of health professionals on board helping to give this little bean the best possible start which is really positive.

I have seen your name on the miscarriage/pregnancy loss board and I just wanted to say how generous and brave you have been in offering your support to others, even when your own losses must have been so raw.

I'm not sure I could be 4-8 weeks. I've just missed a period but before that it was 2 day light.

What thyroid have you got? Mines over active, so I'm shreading weight off! not even seen a specialist about it yet. X

Congrats - breath, take it step by step, day by day!
It's such a hard time to deal with being pregnant again after heartache!
I can't imagine losing at 23 weeks ( I'm 25) but after 3 losses I'm not taking anything for granted and pray daily that I will hold a baby in march!
Get loads of support from OH/ family as your going to need the constant emotional surge when you feel you need it!
Hugs and hand holding xx

i am pg after three mc's and have been bombarded with appointments scans etc. it's really good to know that everyone is looking after me so well.

i have been nervous as one of my mc's was at 20 weeks. i am 22 weeks now and starting to relax a little bit as i can feel movement.

i think the best advice is take each day as it comes and just get as much support from the medical staff to reassure you.

Bridget thank you, hope its a sticky one!! I'm always here to help others, i hate hearing about others going through what i have.

Having specialists don't reassure me, im dreading what my tutor is going to say!

How many weeks are you count? and congratulations!
I'm only 18, I was 17 when I lost my little boy..

Not telling my family or his yet, waiting to tell parents at 12 weeks and can Hopefully hide it from everyone until 20 maybe later!!

pebsbob congratulations! Do you get any more scans now? Trying to stay calm but on constant knicker check which I hate, atleast i don't have the urge to look at baby clothes.

Let's keep our fingers crossed, hope we all have bouncing fullterms next year!
