When does the swelling go down?!

I gave birth two weeks ago but my rings still don't fit me and my shoes are still tight though my feet are no longer swollen. How long before my hands and feet go back to
normal so that my rings and shoes fit? Thank you!

mine took almost 3 weeks. I was actually worse with swelling after the birth than before. I had to wear my husbadns shoes for a week!!

For me it was about a week. I didn't look noticeably swollen but my legs felt heavy and just bigger than normal. I didn't even realise it was normal after giving birth until someone told me afterwards.

I personally think it takes a couple of months to loose all the excess water ect

Aaaaaaaaaaages for me - my belly was still deflating after about 10 weeks, I can't remember when I managed to get my rings on. I had bad swelling before the birth and had expected it to all drain away in minutes afterwards but it hung around for ever! It will go eventually tho.

Congratulations! Thanks

btw I didn't mean my belly was flat after a week (I wish!!). I meant all the swelling/water retention feeling had gone after a week.

Thank you all! I hope it goes away soon! A lot has but I would like to get back into my rings and my shoes!
