39 weeks, felt distinctive "pop" but no water.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced similar?

I'm 39 weeks today and noticed when I went to the loo earlier that there was a lot of pressure in my groin, baby's head has been fully engaged for a week but it has never felt like that. I got into the shower and then felt a big pop in my groin and the pressure was gone. I jumped out of the shower but there is no water leaking at all! I had a sweep on Tuesday and was apparently 3cm but I've had no contractions at all. Confused

I'd ring the labour ward and make sure my DH didn't have anything to drink if I were you.

I had this and 17minutes later DD2 dropped out literally! Grin
