Boys names seem to be so much harder to choose - don't know why. My possibilities so far are Oliver, Finlay, Hugo, Edward for first or middle names. Opinion please!

I agree.
Do you like names that can or cannot be shortened?

chocklit · 07/04/2006 15:35

Don't really mind about whether they can be shortened

Ok here goes;

Jonathan
James
Sam
Matthew
Oscar
Francis

You seem to like more traditional names.

Like Edward as it has good shortened versions; Ted, Eddie etc...

Greensleeves · 07/04/2006 15:40

Finlay's nice.

I like Arthur and Archie too. And Alfie, but I wouldn't use it now because of that numpty in Eastenders Grin

I also like:

Tam
Kim
William
Christy
Daniel
Henry
Kerry
Rhys

CarolinaMooncup · 07/04/2006 16:31

I couldn't get that out of my head when ds was tiny and I was still getting used to bfing - "is it going to be right breasty-dumpling or left breasty-dumpling?"
