9 wks now with 2nd pregnancy. I was so lucky last time with hardly any symptoms! This time I just feel sick constantly! It's driving me mad! Aargh! Rant over!

my friend was like you and her 2nd was twins!

lookingfoxy · 28/11/2012 15:42

Me too, sick as a dog with 2nd, sailed through first, am 11 weeks and definetly feeling loads better.
Had a scan and definetly NOT twins, phew!!

ChocolateCoins · 28/11/2012 15:43

I know how you feel Sad I'm 11 weeks tomorrow. my DD is 15mo and has too much energy! Really can't be bothered to play when I feel this ill. Really hope I start to feel better soon.

How old is your DC?

Rowan1204 · 28/11/2012 15:54

Oh it's so rotten isnt it? I am 8 wks today with twins. feeling pretty horrendous. so nice to hear your not the only one, while at the same time not wishing it on anyone! fingers crossed it will feel better for us all by 12 weeks or so!

AmIGoingMad · 28/11/2012 16:30

DS is 22 months! He's Usually very energetic but poor thing is just getting over the dreaded sickness bug- which I also picked up yesterday as if I wasn't feeling bad enough!!!
Twins?!?! Oh dear- don't tell me that!!!!
I'm sooooo hoping it starts to ease soon as its driving me insane! I'm even off salt and vinegar crisps-unheard of for me!!!!

Sorry rowan- that sounded terrible! I just meant that I don't think I could cope with twins now already having DS! Last pregnancy I'd have panicked slightly but dealt with it! Blush

Feeling sick sucks. I am currently enjoying my first bit of pregnancy with out sickness. Was sick for the full 9 months with my son, with this pregnancy I was sick till 15 weeks and now only feel nausea if I am very hungry. Fingers crossed yours goes away!

AmIGoingMad · 28/11/2012 19:35

Thank you! Glad yours didn't last the whole time this time- that must've been horrendous! Fingers crossed we all get past it soon x

I had hyperemesis with my first, so I should be grateful I don't have it again. But I just can't help feeling sorry for myself!

AmIGoingMad · 28/11/2012 20:33

Oh God poor you! I don't know how I'd cope with that!
I'm just finding it so much harder this time around. Having to try to carry on as normal when I feel so rubbish is getting more and more difficult!
Spending a lot of time in tears at the moment and feeling so guilty. Have amazingly supportive DH, awesome DS and much wanted second pregnancy but I'm just feeling so down at the moment. Really hoping it lifts soon Sad

Me too, currently 9 weeks and sick as a dog. Desparate for a scan so that I can know that there is a live baby in there, I think I will feel better when I'm sure there is a good reason for the sickness. Also have 3 other DC and 6, 4 and 22 months.

elliejjtiny · 28/11/2012 20:49

aged 6, 4 and 22 months, oops

ChocolateCoins · 28/11/2012 21:11

Really hope it eases up for you soon goingmad. Do you work? Luckily I'm a sahm but even that's bad enough. Literally don't know how people do it! DPs family are really great and have DD for me a few times a week which helps. Is there anyone that could have DS for you? Sounds like you could do with a break.

Dolallytats · 28/11/2012 21:17

I had to check to see if it was me that started this thread!! 7 weeks with No3 and I feel sick all day and wake up at night feeling the same. I'm trying to think of myself as lucky because I'm not ACTUALLY throwing up, but I just feel yuck all the time. And the nasty taste in my mouth all the time and nothing tastes nice.

I really hope it goes by 12 weeks!!

Rosiesharples · 28/11/2012 21:36

Totally empathise! Have got to the stage where I will try anything! Currently using a iPhone app called nevasic and eating pickled ginger. Had the best day I've had for a while! Keeping fingers and toes crossed for everyone (and myself) that it goes soon!! Smile

kimcarl1988 · 28/11/2012 21:40

i was sick with both my DC now im carrying my third and i havnt had any sickness at all. If your sickness is that bad i would recommend travel sickness bands from the chemiest they work instantly they are about £10 pounds i think but worth every penny also if your dehydrating then your doctor can give you some tablets to stop you from being sick i hope your prgnancy goes well.

congrats Thanks

AmIGoingMad · 29/11/2012 13:44

Thanks ladies!
Chocolate- I do work as teacher but my doctors just signed me off for fortnight as he thinks I'm on verge of burnout. I've got amazing in laws and DH but everyone is ill with bug and busy with work at the moment. Really hoping to spend a lot of this wkend sleeping and hopefully not feeling too guilty about it x
