Blood at 28 weeks

This may be a little TMI. Went to bathroom to pee and felt a little pressure very low down at the front. Thought it was like a gas pain/period pain. Went to wipe myself and there was blood on the tissue. Red blood. Should I go to the emergency room or wait until morning to doctor? It 2.30 am here and I'm freaking out.

Phone the labour ward. Now.
May be nothing but you can't know that without being checked over. Assuming you are sure the blood was from the front and not from piles etc?

Mixxy I agree you should phone the labour ward, and go in to be checked out.

Fwiw, if it was just a small amount of blood on the tissue, it is unlikely to be serious/major, so try to stay calm Smile

Went to hospital. Red-faced to say the blood was from piles. Doctor was lovely, she told me 'Welcome to the Third Trimester'!

Thanks for the advise ladies. LO is doing fine.

That's great news, thank for updating. I'd take embarrassing over scary any day!
Hope it clears up soon, piles aren't fun. Got to love pregnancy!
