9 weeks pregnant and spotting first thing

Im 9 weeks pregnant and of a morning im having tiny little clots followed by orangy watery blood im not really in any pain just a bit uncomfortable i just wanna know if this is normal? X

It's not usual, can you contact the Early Pregnancy Clinic for a scan?

Phone the hospital and ask the receptionist to put you through. The unit probably won't open until between 8 and 9.

Hi dont get too worried as I had bleed at 9 weeks 2 days, thought the worst but went for scan and was fine. hope everything goes ok xx

Hi, I had a massive bleed at 9 weeks, a big sudden gush of red blood followed by weeks of brown. I had an early scan and everything was OK but there was a big bleed next to the sac but there was a good heartbeat and a little person blob. The bleed had gone by the 20 weeks scan but still spent the rest of the pregnancy on pins, she arrived at 41 weeks absoloutly perfect. Try not to worry as lots of women experience some bleeding.

Great news, I'm so glad to hear it. It's best to get checked out because sometimes it can be an early sign of a treatable problem.
