When to POAS.

How soon after suspected ovulation can you POAS?

I have pcos and don't have periods really, I also rarely ovulate. DD1 is 6 months old and it took 13 months to get pregnant with her and during that time I only ovulated once.

I've been on the pill but I took a break from it on Drs advice after constant light bleeding during the months I was taking it. (The idea was that I'd let my hormones regulate then try with a different pill.)

A week ago last Saturday (so the 17th.) DH and I had sex and had a bit of an accident. Later that day I had a pain in my right ovary and stretchy discharge when I went to the loo. I'm wondering if that was me ovulating.

Since then my boobs have become quite sore and I feel a bit sick and very tired.

I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant. I wouldn't be getting symptoms this soon surely? Plus I don't even know if I ovulated, and I might just be due on a period. I just want to check and make sure.

Am I best to wait a few more days yet?

It certainly sounds like you ovulated that day! I would suggest you wait til at least 14 days from the sex/ovulation to get an accurate test result.

I'm going to leave it until the weekend and see. I still feel sicky and my boobs are sore, I'm getting a bit of discomfort though so possibly it's just hormones/ my period coming.
