Hi Nicky
I don't want to panic you but period pains is how it felt when labour started for me. It might just be a Braxton Hicks, or the just being uncomfortable bit of being 29 weeks pregnant. I would phone your maternity unit and let them know, they might want you to pop in just to check nohting's happening. Don't stress, I'm sure it will all be fine. Apart from that - how do you feel?

Might be ligament pain, I had this.. Felt a bit like period pain but was everything stretching. Best to call midwives though for ease of mind if nothing else

It's gone off now, I've also got a chest infection and a mouth full of ulcers, wondering If I just need to rest up a bit. I will Defo call labour ward if it persists x x

Oh poor you, sounds like you're a bit run down. Can you put your feet up for a bit?

I'm only 25 weeks but have had this, when I mentioned it to the mw at my last appointment she wrote BH on my notes; I assume she thinks it was Braxton Hicks...
I've also has the mouth ulcers, cough and sickness; think there's a bug going round, so I dont know if that could somehow make BH more likely to happen even if early on.

you might be a little bit dehrdrated, drink lots of water. UTI's can be nasty in pg. I would give mw a call so she can reassure you.
