Hi an update from results today, and a plea again to anyone who has been through this! Confirmed Kpa antigen, now in 12th week of pregnancy, this is my 4th baby, all others were perfect. Now this huge shock! Two possible causes, antibodies from husband or during my last birth, my sons blood has mixed with mine, and antibodies has built up resistance to future babies. Antibodies in rhesus negative women are common, can be treated with injections, but i'm rhesus positive, so rare, and no idea whats next. :-( .Even discussed possibility of prem deliv as early as 28wk if it worsens, i'm in a blur, the very thought that the little soul inside me is being attacked by my own body is unbearable.. Please ladies, anybody been through this? and can give me a little ray of hope. xx
