moan

Could I please have a moan, as in real life I have to smile and say it's all fine.

I am 30 weeks with twins. Their heads are hurting my hips. I cannot bend down and pick stuff up off the floor. My skin and my belly button are so sore. My boobs are enormous. My huge maternity bras need extending because my ribs have expanded so much. I have heartburn constantly. i am out of breath all the time. I can't walk due to SPD. I am slowly giving up on my appearance and house - it's all too difficult.

I'm miserable.
But I'd rather they were in there than born too soon, of course, I just needed to get it off my (large) chest.

Anyone else need to moan??

Poor you Sad
I felt like that carrying my bruiser of a ds, let alone having two in there.
Keep going, you're well over half way. Will be worth it in the end. Smile

Much sympathy! Pregnancy isn't a walk in the park anyway but carrying twins must make it even worse. Hope everything goes well for you and the babies.

Thank you, I feel a bit better now. I think it must be natures way of getting you to the point where you just want them out no matter what!

Much respect! I'm one of those honest people who hates being pregnant so I think your being amazingly patient considering what your going through! Moan away Grin

Aw queen I can totally empathise. 29 weeks tomorrow with twins. Except for the heartburn what you've said all rings true. Likewise I want them to stay put as long as possible, I'm just struggling at the moment. I also have a 14.5month old toddler to deal with, luckily she walks well so I can get her to walk to her bedroom to change her etc, but she's been ill this weekend so has been needing more 'attention' than usual and I'm beat! I'm so much more tired this pg than my last one.

Wow you've done well to get this far. Definitely entitled to moan...in fact twice as much as anyone else!

How far will they let you go with twins? Can't be too many more weeks. Take it one day at a time.

I would highly recommend Ranitidine if your GP will give it for the heartburn. It really helped me and just getting rid of (well vastly reducing) that symptom did a lot to cheer me up.

Good luck.

How long you can go depends on the type if twin you're carrying. For me with separate sacs and placentas they will induce between 37 and 38 weeks. For single placenta separate sacs I think it's slightly earlier, for same placenta/same sac it's earlier again but I am not sure of the dates I'm afraid.

I do know of someone who refused induction, got to nearly 40 weeks, I cannot see me refusing! I know I've got max 9wks 1 day left and that's plenty!!Grin

Queenmarigold · 03/12/2012 11:06

I won't be refusing either, Look! It must be natures' way of getting you to the point where you'll deliver two to just feel better!!
