in my left side like someone is stabbing me with a hot poker for the last 48 hours - no temp & my blood pressure is normal. not spoken to anyone prof yet as dont want to cause a fuss. have also had a yellowish/greenish discharge. baby is still tranverse so could it be growing pains? the pain wakes me up.

cookies & cream for anyone who can offer advice to a very worried mummy to be.....

The colour of that discharge isn't right, sounds like infection, PLEASE go and get checked! X

I agree - go and get checked. I ignored a rather grim discharge with my first and had a group B strep infection. Luckily DS was ok ( waters started leaking, had routine swab, had DS, swab came back positive ) but I couldn't relax for ages with DS as I was so worried he'd get late onset strep. Better safe than sorry.

Did you say about the discharge to the midwife? No where have I read or heard that having yellow/green discharge is normal. Please please get yourself into hospital as soon as you can! It's could you can still feel your little one moving but that doesn't mean there isn't a problem. Most problems are easier to sort out/treat the sooner they are identified. Please pack a small overnight bag & get yourself into hospital. If you have any of the discharge on pants/pads/tissues, be sure to take that in too so they can see for themselves. Thinking of you but please please listen to everyone here & go in ASAP!

So glad your own MW is taking things seriously & investigating further. Hopefully if there's an infection it can be cleared up quickly. Let us know how things go? Also sorry to hear about the IBS Sad. Are you taking a pregnancy multivitamin tablet? Especially important with your diet so restricted at the moment. Most supermarkets do their own version fairly reasonably priced (most are fairly well labelled re veggie or not) & Pregnacare original (not the ones w capsules as they contain gelatine) are often 3 for 2 from a supermarket/Boots etc.
