Can you use canesten after losing your mucus plug?

Just that really. I've been losing it in bits and it definitely is mucus plug but now I have thrush and wondered what is safe to put up there.

Waters not broken yet. I know sex is safe so I guess canesten should be too?

Gosh- no! Don't put anything up there. I would thnk there's a risk of infection even from fingers.
