Herbal Rescue Remedy, ok to use?

Does anyone know if it's safe to use Bach's herbal rescue remedy in pregnancy?

It doesn't say anything either way on the label, but I asked a pharmacist in Boots today and she said to check with the doctor first as she wasn't sure.

I'm not going to see the doctor just to check this so wondered if anyone had any thoughts? Thanks

Hi, I checked in my health food shop and they weren't sure, so rang the company. Apparently it's completely fine, and I hope they're right cos I'm 37+2 today and have been using it like it's going out of fashion over the last 8 months!

I also randomly ask pharmacists as I find them and they've all said yes.
It's probably the only thing that is though, definitely don't take Kalms as they're not ok.

It does have alcohol in it, but I guess you'd have to be taking a lot for it to have an effect.

I've always thought it was the booze that made it seem to work Smile

Excellent! Thanks so much. I'll give it a whirl...

You can also get a booze free version called Rescue Remedy Night that's definitely safe in pregnancy.

It's fine during pregnancy, and also safe to give the night-time one to babies if they are distressed (I checked so that I could give it to DS after his jabs).
