im having this random severe stabby pain on the right side near my hip not regular but when it comes takes my breath away and then goes leaving a dull ache till it comes again. any ideas? 26+3 second baby first born via section

I'm 30+3 with my second (first was a normal vaginal birth), and I think I've been getting exactly what you describe. It's almost like a very localized contraction pain? I just figured it was a stretching pain or something, but it's strange how it's so painful but comes and goes for ages. If the pain was all across my front then I'd be definitely thinking early labour pain, but it's a fairly small area right by my hip. Doesn't seem to make a jot of difference whether I stand, sit, bend, rest.

Look up round ligament pain and see if that sounds like it.

I have that pain also. Not particularly painful but weird and localised. I am 18+2.

so i got it checked out for me apparantly its scar tissue?!
