worried about changes to breast

I'm almost 37 weeks pregnant now with DC2. Over the course of the pregnancy I have noticed the usual changes to my breasts (larger, darker areolae (sp?) etc.) However, about 3 months ago I noticed a significantly darker patch on the edge of the areola of the left breast. There are also 3 small raised moles in that area. I'm unsure as to whether they were there pre-pregnancy. Recently I have noticed the area is itchy too. I've just made an appointment with GP for Monday but I can't calm myself. I keep thinking worst case scenario.

Obviously I am very hormonal atm (and I should say I'm also waiting for results of a biopsy of my vulva which I had done last week. Consultant says it does not look like vulval cancer but thinks it may be VIN and require surgery a couple of months after the baby is born.)

Anyway, I am wondering if anyone else has experienced these sorts of specific changes to their breasts. I am just hoping that it is pregnancy-related and not a sign of something more sinister. Why can't I calm myself down?? I'm not usually like this!

I have a darker, itchy patch next to my areola (I'm 21 weeks). I also had this last pregnancy. Both breasts are itchy and have reddish patches.

No moles, but I did develop some on my bump last time which I was unsure about. I was referred immediately to the hospital (which terrified me) but the consultant said skin changes are extremely common in pregnancy and they were nothing to worry about.

Definitely get it checked, but don't worry too much. I hope your biopsy results are fine.

Thank you very much for your reply. I really appreciate it. It's reassuring to hear that skin changes are normal during pregnancy. I will go to gp on Monday and get it checked out anyway. In the meantime I just hope I can get a grip. I am an emotional wreck at the moment. I dont want to be worrying about my health at what should be a time of joyful anticipation!

Yes, I am very 'moley' anyway, but the numbers of them proliferated massively in pregnancy, and skin tags. I developed a lot of new freckles/moles on my breasts and they were a bit itchy. I have been reassured they are nothing to worry about, but you are doing the right thing having them looked at.
