Hi anyone out there who can help? First day of my last period was 4th oct found out i was preg on the 28th it was a faint line but done 4test an all the same.on 8th nov i was bleedin for 7days had scan last thur should of been 6 weeks but doc say was under 5 on fri done digital test was 2-3 on mon another was 3+ but still work out that im not as far as i should b could this b anything to do with me bleeding??

Very early scans aren't always that accurate dating wise. I went for a scan when I was 6 weeks to be told I was more like 5, but when I went back two weeks later the baby had "caught up" and was measuring right. Also, although pregnancies are generally dated from the first day if your last period, it doesn't take into account when you ovulated. Scans at around 12 weeks are thought to be the most accurate for dating an that is why your due date often changes at this scan. If you ovulated early in the month your date will change to an earlier one and if you ovulated late you due date will be a bit later by this scan.

It is really really common to have some bleeding in early pregnancy, especially at around the time that you would've been expecting your period. I have had this with both of my pregnancies and DC 1 is now 2yo and DC2 is due in April. Try not to worry too much. Have they offered you a follow up scan? If so just try to stay calm till then. I'm having the same problem, began bleeding on Tuesday morning went for a scan they said it was slightly smaller than it should be for 6w5d, but there was a heartbeat, still bleeding and returning for another scan on Mon.

Hey thanx feel little bit beta well for the moment lol.yeh next scan is on monday will have to c wot they say then its just seemed like such a long wait not knowing wots happening.lastime he said when i go back if its not developing properly will have to terminate pregnancy! Just nothin is makein sence at minute. My other 2 pregnancys were fine. Misscarried in july now all this.it is a new partner could it b to do with that??

ggjj I suppose every pregnancy is different, we both have our scans on Monday so we can both report back. It is going to be a very worrying weekend, there is only so many times you can look things up on the internet, I'm driving myself mad, every twinge etc I have I'm looking it up. The fact that I saw a little heartbeat on Tuesday was fantastic, but as I have bleed so much since I'm so frightened.

U 2. I didnt get to c a heartbeat altho was meant to b 6weeks.hopefully will monday.yeh i think this wkend is gona drag! I just wana know wos wot.i dont feel pregnant at all tho! Think i mite write down questions i wana ask so i dont forget and will help put my mind at ease.

Well had scan and saw heartbeat.said im about 6 weeks n gota go bk in a week for another scan

had the scan this morning as expected I had miscarried, the nurse said everything had completly passed so it was good that I didn't have to go through any proceedure.
She also said I will be very fertile for the next few months so try again asap.
Hopefully we will fall again but we won't put any pressure on ourselves.
