39, 5 years TTC, BFP, 6 weeks pg, SICK as a dog!

Almost feels like tempting fate to come on the PG board after so long TTC and after two failed IVFs this year and a CP in the summer.
But my lovely g/f is 6 weeks pg today, following our most recent IVF.
She's had very bad nausea 24/7 for the last 4 days. She's not been sick but has hardly been able to eat a thing. She's also very tired all the time and has been for 2 weeks. Is it OK to
feel this rough? She's concerned that, at her advanced age (she'll kill me if she reads this), this constant bad nausea is not good.
Anyone else of around the same vintage suffered very bad nausea at this stage?
Obviously, we're worrying about every single little thing after 5 years TTC....

She's very happy. Me too. But after our last year or two we're both being a little cautious. The ultrasonisgrapher said, 'Oh, you are pregnant.' Then a pause. 'In fact, you're doubly pregnant.' 9mms long each, 130 heart rate - all good so far.

Eek that's amazing! Fingers crossed all continues to go well!

WOW! Congratulations, how exciting, we've been wondering about the chances of twins as they run in both my and OHs family but I haven't been nearly as ill as your partner so probably not.
