Where can I get a pack (or 3) of big black knickers for afterwards?

I've seen multipacks of bikinis/high legs, I've seen big knickers pack of 5 with nude and white in there (yeah ok, maybe not) I just want a pack or two of humongous knickers, all black, in a size 18 that aren't £15 a pack like the mothercare ones!

Primark?

ObiWan · 21/11/2012 07:01

Primark! Also the home of cheap pyjama bottoms that can be binned in the event of leaks Grin

Runningblue · 21/11/2012 07:05

Tesco, sainsburys, m and s if primark isn't handy - they're more available than you might think !

I got mine from Asda, they were really comfy and proper belly warmers not that I have bought more for lazy fat days

Meglet · 21/11/2012 07:09

Yes, Primark. Possibly called light stomach control pants (or something). I had a pack of 2 for after my c-section. They come up to your belly button and keep pads in place.

Tesco do a 4 pack of black full briefs, definitely includes size 18, for something like £2.50/£3. Perfect size & minimal stitching so super comfy. So good!!! Also, in case you're not aware, best to go at least a size up from what you'd normally wear pre-pregnancy cos it often takes time for bump to fully go down & your tummy can feel quite tender after giving birth. Comfy easy clothes & underwear are the way to go! Smile

Primark - I got pants and PJs there for hospital/post birth. Total cost around.£8!

Matalan. I had my first DC 5 years ago and I'm still a committed big knickers from Matalan wearer.

Doodlekitty · 21/11/2012 08:08

Mine came from adds and were perfect. They were the value ones, I thing £2.50 for 4 pairs. I bought a size bigger than I wear and they are so comfy!

Jakeyblueblue · 21/11/2012 08:21

I got mine from primark Smile

JambalayaWarmMincePie · 21/11/2012 08:22

Asda!!!!!! I love them. So comfy. :-)

BuntyCollocks · 21/11/2012 08:33

Marks. The primark ones are sized ridiculously small. I got a pack last time, thank god I tried them before hand or I'd have been knickerless!

kalidasa · 21/11/2012 08:36

I can't go out (SPD) so bought mine on Amazon from some random cheap and oldfashioned underwear company. They are enormous! If you search for "full brief" or "cuff leg" (whatever that means) you seem to get big knickers and obviously you can search specifically for colour as well.

sleepdodger · 21/11/2012 08:37

Make sure they're 100% cotton!

Mono1 · 21/11/2012 08:42

Ok I confess..... I am still wearing my massive pregnancy pants from George at Asda and DD is 5 months old now. I think there were 5 pairs in the pack for £5. I won't let DH see me in them but they're definitely my best guilty secret.

Mibby · 21/11/2012 08:43

Primark :)

2blessed · 21/11/2012 08:57

Primark, £2.50 for a pack of 4.

rogersmellyonthetelly · 21/11/2012 11:47

Thanks ladies! I'll try the above

Mono that's nothing! I got mine from Primark and I still wear them as every day pants my poor neglected lingerie
