Thick pyjama bottoms/yoga trousers with wide waistband?

I've got the mothercare maternity yoga trousers with the wide waistband that come up really high, which are great. Only thing is they're really thin and not warm enough in our cold house.

Has anybody seen any thicker versions please?

I got some in sainsburys, they are not maternity but have been fine before and throughout my pregnancy and now that I am almost full term i wear the waist band under my bump. they are really comfy!

Not really the same but I wore men's joggers from primark still do sometimes

Fairylea · 19/11/2012 22:21

Mama's and Papas do some lovely over the bump joggers in a yoga type material. They are so nice. I lived in them!!

TheMysteryCat · 19/11/2012 22:22

Yes to the sainsburys yoga pants. I love mine and wore when pregnant and after.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. Combined solution for me was just a bigger size in jogging bottoms and pushing the waistband under the bump, and one of these www.boesuits.com/category/mama - pricey but I'm literally living in it, it's sooooo warm we have hardly had to put the heating on, and we live in a drafty Victorian house.

Thanks for the replies!

I'll try mamas & papas as I def need over the bump ones. Already have a sensitive c-section scar and looks like I'll be getting another in a few weeks so any waistband that goes even near that is a no go.

It's a bugger as all the yoga pants seem to be so thin... Maybe I should wear 2 pairs at a time!

Marks and Spencer's yoga pants are fab. Lovely wide waistband.

I had some pyjama bottoms from Jojo Maman Bebe last year, which were like thick yoga pants. Looks like they are still doing them:

I had mamas & papas ones & loved them!

U could also try wearing a pair of leggings under your trousers.

HarlettOScara · 20/11/2012 04:38

I had the mamas and papas ones too but I got them reduced in a M&P outlet store.

LittleLolly · 20/11/2012 04:49

I had some from tk maxx, and some from tesco. Lovely and comfy!!

Another one for sainsburys! I think they were just in the sportswear section- they're sooo comfy.

I've got some exercise trousers from Decathlon which still fit me and I just pull the wide band up over my bump.

iamwhaticallpregnant · 20/11/2012 11:52

They are not maternity but my partner got some PJ bottoms from TK Maxx at the weekend - They had a very wide selection and they were only 10 pounds. He said I could pick them (as I have better taste). They all have large stretchy waistbands (like Men's pants do). And they look SO comfy I am going to go back this weekend and get some for myself (matching). We are going to wear them on Christmas day when the family come over. They are tartan type style (very Morcombe and Wise).

growyourown77 · 20/11/2012 17:42

Decathlon do wide, fold over band yoga pants - i wear these and bought some in a larger size for later one.

Just popped into mamas & papas and they had some in sale for a third off! Result!
