Headaches!

Anyone else suffering with headaches?! I'm 14+5 and they atre crippling me! :(
I was tested for glaucoma last Xmas, and from december to June I was going between doctors to hospital! And I'm due back for confirmed results this xmas!
I've not had a headache like this for ages and is right behind my eyes and it's constantly there and becomes worse if I laugh, run or get angry!

Anyone else had this or know what it is/causes this?

Id say yeah, but then again I spend as much time as I can asleep cos it's the only time I don't have a headache! :/

Try & cut out using it to go online/read things/play games. Use only for essential & short texts & as a phone. If it is this causing it, it'll probably take a few days to improve. Then when it's gone completely take things gradually on your phone & the first sign of a headache/eyes being sore etc you know you've been using it too much. Hope it's something simple like this & you figure it out v soon! Also, may be worth seeing an optician as headaches can often be a result of eye strain. Have you talked it over with a mw?

I have had horrendous headaches that make me sick. My midwife says its quite common. She suggested I eat every couple of hours and make sure I am drinking plenty.
Touch wood it seems to be helping at the moment. I am 15+3

I'd be surprised if it was the smartphone tbh as headaches are quite common in pregnancy. Usually dehydration causes it.

I had awful headaches from about 12 weeks with my first pg. they vanished overnight at about 16 weeks so fx the same happens for you. I'm currently 4+5 and dreading them returning!

The reason I said about smartphone is the headaches described in OP sound just like the ones I had due to overuse of smartphone & I got the impression these headaches have gone on since before Pritchy became pregnant? But may have read that wrong

I highly doubt it's my phone, but I sit in front of a computer during the week! They started Friday during work but wasn't that bad but they've become intense to the point that i can't have the light or telly on! And I've just shouted at my other half who's talking too loud!
I've suffered with these before but it was weeks after my last eye hosp appt! So crunching you are right about beforehand!
Paracetamol hasn't helped and I refuse to take anything other, so I'm not looking forward to going to work if they don't go overnight! :(

Yep i suffer this. I get them if i don't drink enough or i'm tired, m/w said it's very common and is also caused by hormones. I find if i drink a pint of water as soon as i feel it starting, 2 paracetamol, eat a banana (sounds odd but i have read not having enough potassium can contribute!) And if you can have a nap.

I'm now 34 wks and mine have probably got more frequent. I hope yours improve.

Hi pritchy I've also been suffering with horrendous headaches the last few weeks. Ms went at around 14 wks but came bk with avengance 2 wks ago (now 18+2) with headaches thrown in, so bad they were making me sick. I found tht not enough sleep, fluids or food really affects how bad I feel n maybe a sign to slow down a little? I work full time and have 2dc's, 3 +5 so easier said than done! Hope ur feelin btr soon x

Me too, awful headaches. I'm current 15 + 4 so they have become less frequent but I would say no eating enough, dehydration and tiredness are main factors. I've been taking paracetamol when they are bad which helps but not as much as some toast then sleep. It's exhausting but common I think. Get as much rest as and when you can and eat regularly x
