Hi all
When did u start feeling kicks from outside? When I get comfy and baby starts to get going I feel movements with my hand, I'm only 20+6 weeks though, didn't expect to feel them yet! I'm not moaning, loving that DP can feel them with me now. It's my first time, so I'm a newbie ! x

I felt them at around 21ish weeks, so about the same as you. It's so exciting!
I agree, I think things get even more special when DP can feel them too.
I swear my hubby got misty eyed!

Around 20 weeks with my first but husband felt this one move this week (15) so quite a bit earlier.

At 16 weeks with ds, the midwife was horrified by ds's shennanigans. He kept kicking the doppler off and nudging her hand.

DD (my first and an anterior placenta) it wasn't until around 23 weeks.

My DP has been able to feel baba from 19 weeks when I've been asleep snuggled up to him, but as I only found out at 18 weeks I'm not convinced haha.

We both felt him from the outside for the first time a couple of days ago and I'm 22 weeks, I'd not felt him before now myself tho either, so obviously I cried like a daemon - then we both got the ''oh dear lord it's like alien'' feelings again... oops haha xx

Hehe, does anyone find that it feels stranger when u feel it with your hand yourself rather than when you could just feel it from the inside?! DP and I were just laughing, not sure why ! It is lovely when they can feel though, and dont just look at you unsure when you say you can feel it Wink

DH felt wriggler from about 19 weeks. I started feeling her at about 15/16 weeks, little flutters rather than deliberate movements at that point.

Dogsmom · 16/11/2012 12:09

I'm 24 weeks tomorrow and DH still can't feel her, I have put on about 2 stone though so have a nice layer of fat....

I can feel her from the outside but I press more firmly than DH, he's convinced he'll hurt her but then he's already being over protective, the other night I jiggled my hips from side to side to get her kicking and he told me off for waking her Grin
