Past the first 3 months is what I've been trained to advise my clients, I also have additional disposable barriers that can be used for extra protection; nose plugs, masks - just take them off for the final sweep over your face.

I wouldn't say it's vain at all! For a therapist I'm probably the least girly girl ever but before LO arrives I'm booking myself in for a complete overhaul (wax, lashes, eyebrows, hair do, nails) so at least when all those post birth sweaty pictures are taken I may have a slight helping hand at feeling and looking human (hate pictures but would hate not to have them)
