Movements decreased over last couple of days

I'm almost 29 weeks and ive noticed the baby's movements over the last couple of days have really decreased. They seem muffled, I have an anterior placenta so they've never been the massive thumpings I got with my other pregnancies.

I felt the baby get hiccups last night which was reassuring (a little bit) but I feel myself starting to get stressy and I'm trying hard not to fret.

Fortunately I'm due to have a growth scan and consultant clinic appointment (i have GD) later on today, fingers crossed eh?

FX. Good luck, am sure the anterior placenta has a lot to do with it and the hiccoughs are a good sign. But be SURE to mention it when you go in today, for reassurance and / or follow up if nothing else.

hugs

Thank you! The scan was fine, all is good, I can breathe again!

BonaDea - I did mention it to the consultant, she was really nice and stressed the importance of using my intuition and getting in touch if I have the slightest doubt. Baby is breech at the moment and turned away so that is most likely why I'm not picking up the subtler movements. Smile
