Hi everyone, not really sure how to use this yet so sorry if I've done it wrong, just need some advice and reassurance tbh... Have quite a few problems..... I'm currently 39+2 (4th

in my ladie bits, so bad sometimes I can't move out of bed or have to get my boyfriend to help me get up & sometimes even get dressed.. Anyone else experienced this, haven't slept properly in around 2week due to how much pain I'm in :( also isit normal for ur breasts to shrink & become very painfull? & ur areola to go very dark & irritated? Sorry ifits TMI :/ Advice very much appreciated Thanks xx

Hello, i am 37+6 with my first baby. I too feel very uncomfortable: my whole lady-area feels sore and swollen, kinda like I have been kicked down there. A bit bruised feeling. Think it's the weight of the baby pressing down?

I also have bad lower back ache which gets worse if i walk any longer than about 10 minutes.

I can't sleep properly cos whichever side i lie on, my hip really hurts/gets cramp. Rolling over in bed is also v sore (can feel muscles hurting underneath my bump), husband has to help me! I also can't really reach my feet to put socks/shoes/sometimes trousers on, so I also rope poor husband into helping with this too!

I have a friend who's a midwife, and she said these all just sound like normal end-of-pregnancy aches and pains to her, and are nothing to worry about. Part of Mother Nature's way of making me want to go into labour!

I am not a medical professional so I can't comment on your symptoms precisely, and would say if you have a gut feeling that something is wrong, then you should call your midwife/make an appointment. And I haven't had any of the breast symptoms you describe.

But I wanted to reassure you that I think it's quite normal to feel desperately uncomfortable/sore by the last few weeks of pregnancy. It certainly seems to be my experience!
