Stabbing pain at top of bump?

I'm 37 weeks pg, and have got a horrible stabbing pain at the top of my bump, below my ribs. Doesn't feel like its a stuck foot as its a bit too low, but baby is wriggling like mad!
Any ideas? Or suggestions for how to get comfy?

Which side is it on? If it's on the right hand side phone your midwife immediately for some advice because that can be a sign of pre-eclampsia (most probably not but best to rule out.) she'll take your blood pressure and check a urine sample to be sure.
