Decided not to have the NT test at my 1st scan so just went for the dating scan.

Sonographer was there for quite a while with us just chatting and dating the scan and showed us all the different parts of baby, she even let us have a look at babys tiny feet from undrneath.

She then went on to say that baby showed no fluid on the brain.. isn't that what they're looking for in the NT test? So did she do the test or not?

Do you mean the nuchal test? If so then they measure the amount of fluid at the back of the neck. All babies have some, so Down's risk depends on the amount being a-typical.

Nt test measures the thickness of fluid (or maybe skin, I can't remember) at the back of the neck, not fluid on the brain. If you want it done the result is in millimetres and they give you a risk ratio of chromosomal abnormalities. Fluid on the brain is something else, though cannot remember what.
