Dreamgenii or equivalent?

I'd love your thoughts on the dreamgenii pillow for sleep or anything similar (name, price & where from?). In the past I've used a wedge to support bump & pillow between legs, but it takes time to adjust to just right. So, is the dreamgenii worth the £40 odd?

Hello, I have the Dreamgenii which I bought from amazon, and I love it. I have had bad SPD since about week 20 and I use it every night. It's not too big and is easy to turn around in, I keep the longer side on the left and sleep that way around with it between my legs (does that make sense). Then if I turn over in the night to sleep on my right, I don't move the pillow but just use it as a back support. The shorter side supports the back too when sleeping on the left. I also like how the longer side is thinner at the top to support my bump but not make it too high. Def worth the money! I don't work for Dreamgenii, I promise...!

I got a Widgey from Boots. It was £20. I love it. Works as a back support, great for reading in bed, sleeping on, using as a round cushion for baby when he's sitting up. Great for my very sore tailbone too.

For me the dream genii was worth every penny. I no longer have hip pain at night, and the baby moves to a really comfortable position for me at night. Previously she had been lying transverse and low which felt awful. Best purchase to date!!

Visualise, how did you use the Widgey for sleep?

I loved my dream genii, used it for two pregnancies and it was still as good as new. It worked both ways round so it didn't matter when I turned over during the night, like someone else mentioned, I loved that it wasn't too high to rest my bump on. I didn't use it as a breastfeeding pillow though, just used a normal pillow as couldn't get my head around how to arrange it in my sleep deprived state

I've got the Summer Infant support pillow from Argos and I love it. I should think they are all about as good as each other tbh because it's just a big long pillow roll that wraps around you, so it's probably not necessary to spend a fortune. Do get one though - it really makes a difference.

Im 17+5 and bought the dream genii last week due to hip pain and its been amazing, only problem ive found is you cant turn over with it! mine was about £45 from mothercare!

I got the narrow body pillow from mothercare and I am still using it...and my baby is now 5 months old!

I got a v pillow from Ikea, £7.50 plus £2.50 for a pillow case. It's been perfect so far. I had my mum's old v pillow from when she has me for sleeping with and feeding dd but it's finally split. They are really necessary for feeding and co sleeping safely.

I got a v pillow from m&s, £15 inc pillow case, and it is fab.

Another vote for the dream genni! I have slept so much better since I had it (prior to this I was trying to use normal pillows) it supports both back and front really well and helps you to stay on your side without feeling to bulky or uncomfortable. I arrange it for the recommended left side sleeping position but if you do roll over you can pull the long bit through between your legs to stop your lower back twisting so much. I slept for almost 9 hours last night - heaven!

I got the dreamgenii as I started to get sort a sore hip down into my bottom / upper thigh on one side. I have to say that it worked within a day or two so definitely gets my vote for effectiveness (however, have to say I don't really like using it, but that's just me).

DH bought me the theraline big V pillow from John Lewis and it is just amazing! Sleeping SO much better now and can also be used as breast feeding pillow post birth.
