was you second labour/birth easier than your first?

Just that really..

Due DC2 in may and wondering if any of you had it easier second time around?

Oh good God yes! Had a nightmare labour first time round - 42 hours, cord round neck, patchy epidural, taking blood from DS' head... Dd was born in 8 hours with gas and air only because I didn't need anything else. The pain was so much more bearable and I actually enjoyed it 2nd time around!

Well that's good to hear, to be honest I can't complain about my first labour as it wasn't too bad at all.
A friend of mine had a fantastic labour first time and ended up with a forceps delivery after a long painful induced labour with her second so was hoping for some nice stories lol
