22 week scan

Hi I had my 22 week scan yesterday. All measurements were good and the sonographer said there was nothing to worry about. They don't measure the crown to foot length as they take more accurate measurements from the head etc but she gave me a scan photo with a line between the crown and rump which says D=15.8 cm. is this what the baby measures because it seems really small to me?! I'm trying not to fret but can't understand it

According to my book crown to rump at 21 weeks approx 16 cm - 22 weeks approx 19 cm. So I would say its nothing to worry about at all. Remember your due date is estimated and all babies develop and grow at different rates. If there was a problem you would have been referred for more scans later on. Hope this helps.

That does help thanks. All the websites say it should be 19 at least and it freaked me out a bit. All her other measurements are absolutely normal and she was moving about like mad. Plus I am 5'5" and my fiancé is about 5'10" so we're not the tallest of people.

Plus I was just on 22 weeks yesterday and when she measured the leg bones they said 21+6

My book says 16.5cm week 20 and 18cm week 21 and nearly 20cm week 22! It's really confusing isn't it?!

I've been told this most likely is the depth of amniotic fluid
