So on day 3 of ms. Just nausea but seem to go from fine to terrible in the space of minutes.

It's only eating that seems to make me feel human. I appreciate small meals throughout the day helps but I had to eat pretty much constantly today for 8 hours to feel human.

Should I try and ride it out sometimes without always eating? I really don't want to pile the weight on. What do you/ did you do to best cope and what foods helped you through?

You do what you have to do to make you feel human. Honestly, it really doesn't matter if you eat your own weight in crackers/mashed potato/grapefruit (all foods that made me feel a little bit less crap) if it gets you through the day at this stage. You will not put on excess weight at this point, its all going towards building a little person.

The ravenousness does settle down a bit in the 2nd trimester.

Yes, agree re randomness. The only REAL MS I had was in the last month if pg no 2 when I vomitted every morning.... Not nice at all. Sympathies.x

I'm fine as long as I eat something about every hour - dont get hungry!

Pretzels followed by a mars bar is my staple diet at the moment! Pretzels are fab! (The little crunchy kind) Hope you feel better soon!

Sleep seems to help me... 16+6 and it still catches me at random moments of the day. I'm off to bed in a minute. I have a DD already and get exhausted looking after her, it wasn't until someone took pity on me and took her off for the afternoon and I went to bed, how much a difference sleep makes.

Keep munching but try a nap when you get home from work and before your dinner. Might make you feel better.

I have a supply of snack a jacks and crackerbread on hand, dont think they are too bad to munch on calorie wise. i also find that mints help too.

I've been struggling through work with mine all day! Just want to crawl under the desk!

I am glad i am not the only one then. Just a week of awful nausea, I don't throw up but sometimes I wish I did. Also concerned about the amount of food I am eating, lots of carbs as they make me feel better. Also yogurt and cheese so much cheese. I will be the size of a house before my 12th week.

Really glad I'm not the only one. All the advice on here is massively helpful though...thanks all
