I had a scan last week ( at 35wks) and ws told thababy's growth had slowed down since the last scan I had 2 weeks earlier. I've been told that if it continues to slow down (being checked again in just over a week) will need to be induced. Had a stressful time a few weeks ago (BP was up for a few days) and now worried that the stress had affeted baby's growth. Anyone else been through this? And is induction as awful as it sounds?

I was induced but for different reasons (at 42 weeks ds still didn't want to come out). It's not ideal because they are trying to get your body to do something it just isn't ready to do yet. That said, everyone is different. I would just say, don't be shy to take the pain relief on offer and good luck Smile
