Contraception between babies/pregnancies?

Hi all
Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but for those of you with more than one dc (or planning it..) what are you doing about contraception? We're expecting our first in 6 weeks but know we want more than one, and ideally not too far apart, but not 9 months between!

I know breastfeeding can work as a natural contraceptive, but shouldn't be relied on. Can you go back on the pill while breastfeeding?

The midwife is supposed to discuss it with us after the birth aren't they? I'll be asking for the depot until everything settled down and I can have the non hormone depot fitted.

You can take the minipill while breastfeeding, certainly. Other hormonal forms I'm not sure about.
