I've told my mom and stepdad as well as my partners family straight away, but I had my 12 week scan earlier this week, and told my dad and stepmum today... However my aunt was there and told my nan over text without taking us into consideration even though I said I wanted to tell my nan myself!
I'm a private person when it comes to personal matters like this and my family like to spread gossip. So now a lot of people in the family and friends of the family know without me telling them and all thanks to my aunt telling my nan.
Am I right to be very peed off? I feel very hurt as I didn't want the news to be out just yet. :/

I think it's quite reasonable that you would be upset - 1. you wanted to tell people yourself and 2. you made that clear and weren't respected by your aunt. Both reasons are rational.

Congratulations on your pregnancy.

You are quite right to be annoyed by this - similar happened to us with DC1. We told both sets of grandparents rather early as we were in the UK and wanted to tell them face-to-face. DHs mother went and blabbed to his one sister and 3 brothers so when he called a few weeks later to tell them, they already knew. She wasnt being malicious - just excited and wanted to share. DH was pretty upset that he missed the chance to share with his siblings.
