Abscess on my tooth!

Hi,

I am in agony! I've been up most of the night, I think I've got a abcess on my tooth ( had one before so recognise the pain) has anyone had one before when pregnant ? Did the dentist treat it? X x

Yes,doctor gave me amoxicillin.

Did that clear it up completely? X x

Yep a few weeks ago I got amoxicillin from the dentist. Also getting root canal on it (currently 33 weeks)

I've had 3 lots of antibiotics this pregnancy am hoping they haven't mutated my baby (I jest, obviously)

I have just had exactly the same thing and need my tooth removed (one of the back ones thankfully!). However I have a major dentist phobia so have to wait until bubs is here so I can be sedated. I had antibiotics which worked a treat but I am worried about it coming back and needing to take more.

Good luck - there is no pain worse (its my first baby so I can't compare to childbirth just yet!!).

Yes, it cleared it up completely. Been a month now with no problems.
