Bought a jar of these from Holland and Barrett last week - just their standard dose ones (says on the jar you can take between 3 and 6 per day).

How many should I take, and at what gestation should I start taking them?

Thanks! Xx

I was on another thread about this,

General agreement was, start from week 34
Build up slowly to full doseage,
It doesnt trigger labour but helps smooth the uterine muscles.

Also mentioned was taking or better still inserting Evening Primrose oil as close to the cervix as you can, This apparently has the same hormone they use to induce labour but in a much milder doseage,

Do this from about week 37,
before bedtime so it has time to disolve and absorb,
And wear a liner as the oil can stain underwear.

Hope this helps a bit! x
