Only 5 oz. And he was the second baby. Dd was 8lb 10oz, 13 days late, and ds was 8lb 15oz, 14 days late. Not much in it .

foxinsocks · 29/03/2006 17:07

no but only because he was 3 weeks early (dd was 7lb10oz and ds was 7lb1oz at 37 weeks)

moonshine · 29/03/2006 17:08

Baby no 1 was dd 8lbs 6ozs (5 days early0
Baby no 2 was ds 10lbs! (bang on edd)

So yes!

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 29/03/2006 17:10

Dd was heaviest at 10lb. Ds's were 8lb 6 and 9lb 8.

fruitful · 29/03/2006 17:10

Hmm. He might have been. Dd was 2 weeks early, 5lbs 9. Ds was 6 weeks early, 4lbs 6. He is 25th centile now, she is 9th. She was first.

I remember looking up some stats when pg with ds. Can't remember where they were from. But generally, boys were heavier than girls at birth. And generally, second babies were heavier than first ones.

bakedpotato · 29/03/2006 17:13

nope -- DS, second child, was 1 oz lighter
both 5 days early

golds · 29/03/2006 17:17

exactly the same weight

serenity · 29/03/2006 17:19

No,

DS1 - 9lb 2 (8 days late)
DS2 - 8lb 13 (10 days late)
DD - 9lb 10 (11 days late),

so DSs were lighter than DD

CADS · 29/03/2006 17:29

No1. DS 7lbs 15ozs (14 days late)
No2. DD 9lbs 1ozs (8 days late)
